Do you need visas when travelling to Russia and, if so, which one should you apply for?
There is a visa requirement between the UK and Russia, of you're going on business to Russia you'll have to have visa. You'll have to remember as well that if you're just going for a meeting, or you're just going for a short period you can have a business visa which will be the one that is provided to you by the partner or your Russian side, and that's not a problem as it's normally quite straight forward procedure. If you're going to work in Russia on a long term the business visa is not sufficient and you'll have to a work permit which is much more complicated and bureaucratic and therefore you'll need proper legal advice and you will need a government institution to help obtain you one
