The Institute of Export was established in 1935 and enjoys the Royal patronage of HRH the Duke of Kent. We are incorporated as a Registered Charity and we strive to achieve this principally by the provision of education and training programmes. We have eight core courses and seventeen Management and Specialist programmes which are delivered by accredited trainers. We can also provide bespoke and in-house training programmes in the UK and overseas if required.
We are confident that we can supply a solution to your international training needs. Primarily comprised of individual members the Institute also has an increasing Business & Corporate Membership and a growing list of services and benefits designed to meet the various needs of all membership categories. Dedicated to professionalism and recognising the challenging and often complex trading conditions in international markets, we believe that real competitive advantage lies in competence and that commercial success, especially in the international arena, is underpinned by a sound basis of knowledge.
The Institute of Export is the only professional body in the UK offering recognised, formal qualifications in International Trade. Our professional qualifications, achieved by examination, lead to the award of the Diploma in International Trade which confers Graduate Membership of the Institute and the entitlement to use the suffix, MIEx (Grad). Full membership of the Institute of Export provides an unrivalled and highly relevant portfolio of benefits for today’s international trade professionals.
