What is network application optimisation?

Network application optimization is a consulting /assessment type study, that assessment study is really focused on gathering where you are today, i.e. gathering empirical data through traces, through analyses and modeling giving you a view of how the network and the application looks together today. Balancing that against business strategy so looking at your business drivers you need to get to those two things coupled together give you where you are today and where you want to get to in the future and provide a transformation type road map of how you're going to get there. So network optimization itself could be many number of things it could be WAN acceleration optimization type things it could be load balancing it could be tuning your current network it could be replacing kit it could be amending how your applications perform, a whole manner of things, technology that could be suitable to that solution so network application optimization brings all those things together with a concise set of recommendations.
