Chris Scott is the Site Enablement Services leader in IBM Global Technology Services. He has over 20 years experience in IT services in IBM and started his career in the Maintenance and support business as a hardware engineer where he worked for a number of years as both an engineer and in a variety management roles.
Chris's knowledge of the importance of high system availability led to his appointment as a Project Manager developing high availability services and enhanced maintenance services on IBM's Netfinity server range which eventually developed into the System x server range.
More recently, for the past 5 years, Chris has managed IBM's Data Centre design and build offerings and is an active member of the IBM Site and Facilities Community of Practise. He also received the CNET Networks Award for Green IT Initiative of the Year on behalf of IBM in 2007.
