Iain left university with a Software Engineering degree and quickly moved through a number of Retail Operations and Supply Chain roles with blue chip food and mix mode retailers. Whilst working for a major oil company in various business roles he managed a number of small best of breed application implementations in the late ‘90s.
With a strong technical and business background, Iain then performed the role of Solution Architect and Project Manager for a major global Supply Chain transformation initiative which led him back into the world of IT full time.
Spending a further 8 years with the organisation he was responsible for 7 ERP level implementations in 6 countries. Iain joined IBM in 2007 to help establish its Mid Market Business Services team where he works with mid sized businesses to help them implement strategy and change to their business processes and applications.
