Nick has a colourful background; he left school at 16 to pursue a career as a Professional Cricketer with Essex CCC. Nick broke into the first team ranks but his real talent lay in coaching, where he became the youngest person ever to obtain the Advanced Cricket Coaching qualification. He coached not only in the UK but in South Africa before leaving the game to set up a business in Cornwall. Nick joined Apex in 1993 and subsequently led his first MBO, buying Apex in 1998.

Nick is a versatile executive with extensive business experience, who has the ability to define structures and models that allows strong business growth in a controlled environment. Nick is currently working with the team of Directors at Apex to deliver a managed services based strategy aimed at de-risking the business and increasing shareholder value.
